There comes a point in every man's life, that when he is faced with the ridiculous variety of shaving options available, he must take matters back into his own hands!
HaHa! Brilliant..It was just ten years ago.. I stopped using a cut~throat razor..now, l use Gillette razors, after trying all sorts! They are about the best, and being retired now, l shave every other day..and my face..!!! :). And..l have the Gillette M3 among others..it vibrates...(I'll say no more)...! :o).
Well, so nice to see you pop up on the blog, how did we lose each other I wonder. Last time I remember you were not well but glad to see you are okay now. will put you back on the list. By the way, that knife should be handed in, lol Briony x
I wish Gillette would bring back the simple GII blades. No lubricating strips or swivelheads - just simple, safe twin blade shaving. I believe they ditched them because they determined they could make more profit with alternative and more costly saving products.
I'm a gardener from Bournemouth, on the south coast of England. I love gardening, designing gardens, handling plants, and the smell of them. I find peace in walking barefoot on grass, and wild camping. I collect antique wine and liqueur glasses for a hobby, spend some of my spare time exploring the worlds most romantic and exciting cities, and listening to classical music, my favourite piece being Samuel Barber's 'Adagio for Strings'. I enjoy following other people blogs, especially when they involve gardeners on any level, from a single window box, to keepers of vast estates, and reading about their lives 'in between' everything horticultural. This blog is not only about my day to day gardening life, but also what I get up to in my free time, along with any thoughts, troubles and musings.
Sons of Gondor! Of Rohan! My brothers. I see in your eyes the same fear that would take the heart of me. A day may come when the courage of Men fails, when we forsake our friends and break all bonds of fellowship, but it is not this day. An hour of wolves and shattered shields when the Age of Men comes crashing down, but it is not this day! This day we fight! By all that you hold dear on this good earth, I bid you stand, Men of the West, for we have had tea, with a sugar in it!

Hi Briony,
DeleteYeah, I got a blood clot then a massive PE. I've spent more time reading other blogs than posting since for some reason.
Don't let it bother you too much, Tom has had the lot in the past, 3 bouts of PE's one multiple and he's still here, lol

I love glass too. I have bored people to distraction about it in the past.
ReplyDeleteOh, you have comment moderation. I rarely put up comments once I have learned about that. Oh well. Some other time.
ReplyDeleteThere you go Tom, just for you. I get a LOT of anonymous spam, that's why it was up.

ReplyDeleteThings are just way too complicated now, and more expensive!
