Images Of A Picnic

We had a family picnic on Sunday. It was a warm, balmy and lazy day. Below are just a few pictures to give an idea of the magical and romantic place that is Old Wardour Castle, and to start it off, here is a little movie that Matt had been secretly making without us knowing.

Not sure what I was talking about here, some sort of rubbish no doubt. Still, Ella seems interested.

These lilies on the lake reminded me of Monets Water Lilies at the Musee de l'Orangerie in Paris.

The view from inside the lakehouse. It's possible to get married here.

One of the stained glass windows in the lakehouse.

The moviemaker Matt, and Rebecca.

Stones and wells always go well together.

It was warm, and Dom was tired out.

Elaa rolled down this hill continuously, it really made me feel giddy.

Sun lotion on Claire.

And a wave from  Amanda, and her mum Celia.

    1. Hi Lorraine,
It was a lovely way to spend an afternoon with those closest to me. Matt is very handy with all of the video editing stuff, as you will probably see in a future post involving me. Take care.

    1. Hello Chris,
We had a wonderful time thanks, and all got home exhausted. Dom wasn't the only one to have a snooze that day.

    1. He did a nice job didn't he Sherlock? It was one of those rare occasions when everyone in the family could take the same day off work.

    1. Hi Parsnip,
We never forget just how fortunate we are to have ended up together in such a beautiful part of the UK. It's why we try to make the most of it at every opportunity, before old age sets in. Have a good week.
