I Do Like Mondays

Well, I like Mondays when they are like today, sunny and warm...........aaahhhh!!!!
So with a song in my heart and a spring in my step I head to the van to start the days work..
Hmmm.......I didn't count on the van windscreen being frozen up, de-mister on and some music while I wait. Then it's off to Southbourne for the first job of the day....along the Overcliffe Drive....

And arrive at Stourwood Grange......a little tidying at the front............

.....a little tidying at the back.......

.....and then off to Boscombe to do the same at a block called Camelot. This was among some of the first properties that I took over back in 1997 and originally had a genuine set of stocks in the front garden, but these were unfortunately stolen.

Then immediately opposite to Denecourt to do some pruning........

....around the corner to Southlands to reduce some of the shrubs and crown lift a tree....

...and then it's time for a spot of lunch overlooking the pier at Boscombe beach..........

..........three more rather nondescript places next.............

......... Carlton Court

........Ascham House

..................then Lansdowne Court, and that's the work for Monday.

When I got home, I just had to take a picture of this Hamamaelis mollis in our garden. I can't believe that it's still flowering this late!

  1. Dear Gary, If it's Tuesday, it must be Belgium. Or at least that is as you must feel as you travel between so many different properties in one day! However, your pictures all show everything everywhere to be in very good order, a result no doubt of your input and hard work.
