Amandas Parsnips

I'm probably going to regret this, and almost certainly be walking for the foreseeable future with a somewhat jaunty gait, but I think the post title says it all!

  1. awwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwwww !
    I love parsnips.
My garden never really got going this year. I have two tomato plants from last year that are still producing tomatoes and that is about it. I usually get a crop in spring then shut down for the super hot summer then another crop in late summer to winter. But these two plants just keep on producing.
Who am I to argue ?

    cheers, parsnip

    1. I have to be fair Gayle, this is the first time we have tried growing them. But we both love parsnips, especially roasted, and so will persevere. Can I ask, why 'angry' parsnip?

    2. I wrote a story about my name on my blog a few months ago...
It is a longish story but highlights... My family makes up story all the time. Especially about out pets.
All the children were all over. Starting with one in Cambridge studying then he moved onto Japan where he lives now. Two others in two different states... So I needed a name for e-mails Daughter was a robot and son was a tako (octopus) and I didn't want a name that was my name and my birth date.
Daughter and I started with veggies and landed on carrot but I pipped up oh the parsnip gets overlooked again. And It is angry why does everyone over looks the parsnip foe the pretty orange carrot... the story goes on.but that is why I am angryparsnip.
Son want's me to write a book . I have met so many nice people over this name.
One company e-mailed me back saying I was voted the best name ever and they all got a great laugh that day.
hahahahaha when I get my new computer I will add the story to my blog.

      cheers
